Professor Terence Campbell

Professor Terence Campbell AM, MD (UNSW), DPhil (Oxon), FRACP is Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He is a Fellow and Past-President of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and is now Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), having been both Professor of Medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney and Deputy Dean of Medicine at UNSW.
Professor Campbell has held senior medical, academic and management positions and is also currently a Pro-Chancellor at UNSW.
He has served on many committees and councils associated with medicine and medical research and was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute until 2020 having formerly been its Deputy Director.
Professor Campbell has made substantial contributions to research and scholarship and is widely published in his specialist field.
In 2003 Professor Campbell was awarded a Member, Order of Australia (AM) for service to medicine in the fields of clinical pharmacology and cardiology, to the development of medical and health policy, to education, and to the community.
Professor Campbell's term of appointment expires on 30 June 2026.
